Every relationship begins and ends with you! You remain the center and core of any relationship. Unless you have a sense of self-worth, it is impossible to sustain relationships with others. You must believe in yourself and your ability to deal with life’s ups and downs. Unless you are secure in who you are, you will seek external validation. Since all external endorsements come thru personal and therefore subjective windows, it may not provide the desired outcomes. When you seek approvals outside the realm of objectivity, you risk jeopardizing your value. While you need to acknowledge your weaknesses, it is more important to concentrate your energy on improving your talent. Human nature is a combination of strengths and weaknesses, thus eliminating all shortcoming is improbable, and it makes more sense to find ways to control your frailties. The best way to control is to grow and improve the strengths which enhance and expand your self-esteem, thus elevating your individuality. When you feel good about yourself, you generate an energy field that attracts others. This is the assurance that the normal adventures of any relationship has a fertile ground for development. Ultimately lasting relationships depend on your capacity for development.
