The citizens of the United States voted this November. Whether you are happy with the results or not, the issue is that only 36% of the voter eligible population voted. This means that 64% or two thirds of the eligible voters let someone else cast their vote. In essence, the minority now have the power to define the ideas the majority will live with. Here are the things you must consider.

  • If you did not vote, then you cannot complain.
  • You have acquiesced to other people’s ideas and philosophies.
  • If you could not invest the time to have your voice heard, then the elected will not worry that you will take time to watch what they do!
  • These elected officials will be making decisions that will impact your socio-economic future.

The good news is that there is another election in two years – will you be interest?
